The adminisration, faculty and staff of R.O. Hawkins Junior High School in Jackson, Mo., would like to express our appreciation to the residents of the Jackson School District for their support in providing the new addition and renovations to the junior high school. It has become apparent to us already that the additional room and enhanced atmosphere have positively impacted our students as well as ourselves.

We feel confident that the increased number of classrooms, the new computerized writing lab, the enlargement of the library, the expansion and remodeling of the kitchen and cafeteria, the multipurpose gymnasium and the many other improvements will aid us in our mission of providing a quality education and preparing our students for the challenges of the 21st century.

Many of our students' parents experienced the new and refurbished junior high school on Back-to-School Night. We hope that Jackson School District residents who have not yet seen the upgraded junior high school will take the opportunity to do so.
