MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Genevieve Eileen Lincoln, 71, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 4, 1931, at Burfordville, Mo., daughter of Chester Floyd and Jettie Lucille Jones Phelps. She and Linus Jake "Jay" Lincoln were married Oct. 1, 1949. He died Nov. 4, 1992.
Lincoln worked at a shoe factory several years, and retired from Henschel Manufacturing. She was a member of Community Church.
Survivors include two sons, Forrest Lincoln of Marble Hill, Kenneth Lincoln of Jackson, Mo.; a brother, Carlin Phelps of St. Louis; a sister, Grace Phelps of Cape Girardeau; a granddaughter; 10 stepgrandchildren; and 22 great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and two brothers.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Diana Cook officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
