Illinois will get team and the revenue

To the editor:

Mayor Francis Slay, we do not want our Cardinals in Illinois. Illinois will get all the revenue and Missouri will get nothing. Why not rebuild in the same place and buy the property around the stadium? We are Cardinals fans and will not support them in Illinois.DAVID AND LAVINA EGGERT

Don't report just half the story

To the editor:

It was brought to my attention by our daughter the online paper only printed half a story.

The story in mention was in Wednesday's paper entitled "Southeast gymnasts fear program could tumble." We are in Florida and have depended on the Southeast Missourian to present news about SEMO and SEMO sports. Is this common practice in online reporting to only print half a story or just to those stories you deem not important? The online story failed to publish the quotes from the gymnast, one of which was my daughter. I do not subscribe to the newspaper but depend on it for SEMO information.

Do your reporters and readers know you are cutting stories?MIKE GODWIN

Cape Coral, Fla.

Part of the story was mistakenly cut when it was moved onto the Web site. Steps have been taken to keep that from happening in the future.
