Mrs. Black is the former Rhonda Coomer, daughter of Larry and June Mayberry of Scott City and Walt Mays of Mt. Vernon, Ill. She is a licensed practical nurse at Pekin Living Rehab in Pekin, Ill. Black is the son of Rick and Susie Black of Clarkton, Mo., and Carolyn Black of Fenton, Mo. He is a recruiter with the U.S. Navy in Pekin.

Mrs. McFarland is the former Rebecca Clark, daughter of Allen and Ruth Clark of Marble Hill, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. McFarland are designers at Fru-Con Engineering. He is the son of Alice McFarland of Marble Hill and Bill McFarland of Wills Point, Texas.
