Southeast women's team goes on the road

The Southeast Missouri State University women's soccer team will the long trip to Morehead State on Friday to put an unbeaten league record on the line.

Southeast is 2-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference, beating both Eastern Illinois (1-0) and Tennessee Tech (2-1) this season. In the teams' last meeting October 19, Southeast won 7-0.

Southeast (9-4-1) has eight shutouts this season to lead the conference. Junior Erika Todd leads the Otahkians in goals this season with six. Freshman Lisa Schweppe has the most shots on the team with 44; junior Valerie Henderson follows her with 43.

Morehead State is 1-9-3 overall and 0-3-1 in the OVC.

Southeast will return home for a double conference match-up against Austin Peay and Tennessee-Martin next weekend.
