Gordonville PTO readies for chili supper

GORDONVILLE, Mo. -- The Gordonville Attendance Center Parent Teacher Organization has scheduled its annual "Chili Supper Night" from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the school cafeteria on Highway Z in Gordonville.

The menu will include chili, hot dogs, peanut butter sandwiches, dessert and a beverage. Tickets cost $3.50 in advance or $4 at the door. Children four and under eat free. Carry-outs will be available.

Trinity Lutheran to hold pork sausage supper

SHAWNEETOWN, Mo. -- Trinity Lutheran Church in Shawneetown will hold a whole hog pork sausage supper at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

The family-style meal, sponsored by the Trinity Lutheran Layman's League Men's Club and Trinity Ladies Aid with the Lutheran Brotherhood SEMO Branch 8252, will take place at the Trinity Lutheran Parish Hall in Shawneetown.

Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 6-12, five and under eat free.

New Salem church will serve kettle beef dinner

DAISY, Mo. -- The New Salem United Methodist Church, located on Highway AA in Daisy, will serve its annual kettle-cooked beef and chicken dressing supper beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The family-style meal also includes mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, slaw, homemade bread, apple butter, dessert and drink. Cost for adults is $6.50, $3 for children 6-12, and five and under eat free.
