APPLE CREEK, Mo. -- Jettie M. Buchheit, 93, of Cleburne, Texas, formerly of Apple Creek, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at Emery J. Lilge Hospice House in Burleson, Texas. She was born April 27, 1909, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of Lewis and Ella Michaels Hinkle. She and Barney Buchheit were married in April 1925. He died March 5, 1967...

APPLE CREEK, Mo. -- Jettie M. Buchheit, 93, of Cleburne, Texas, formerly of Apple Creek, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at Emery J. Lilge Hospice House in Burleson, Texas.

She was born April 27, 1909, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of Lewis and Ella Michaels Hinkle. She and Barney Buchheit were married in April 1925. He died March 5, 1967.

Buchheit had been a cook at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cleburne, and former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek.

Survivors include three sons, Oscar Buchheit of House Springs, Mo., Leroy Buchheit of Seagoville, Texas, Ralph Buchheit of Spokane, Wash.; five daughters, Dorothy Coomer of Cleburne, Valerie Nations of St. Louis, Lucille Buchheit of Carlyle, Ill., Alice Kline of Festus, Mo., Thelma Hotop of Jackson; and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, a sister, and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo., from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. The wake will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Msgr. Richard Buchheit officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
