Notre Dame's girls' cross country team won the overall meet title and the boys' squad finished fourth overall in Saturday's North County Invitational in Bonne Terre, Mo.

Among the girls, Sarah Unterreiner (11th), Megan Rosenquist (12th) and Kasie Essner (15th) took top-20 spots. Sam Montgomery was 20th in the boys' event, where Notre Dame won the small-school title.

Jackson won the JV girls' race while Jackson was second in JV boys.

Jackson (6-12-1) rolled to a home victory, defeating Northwest from House Springs.

Stuart Knowlan scored a pair of goals and Derrick Biri netted one.

Austin McDowell made six saves to record his fourth shutout of the season.

Jackson's JV also blanked Northwest 5-0. Chris Bramlet and Chris Kroust each scored twice.
