Hanover Lutheran Church was the setting Aug. 24, 2002, for the wedding of Jennifer Kay Pierce and David Wayne Bisher. The Rev. Mark Martin performed the ceremony. Organist was Judy Foeste of Cape Girardeau.

Roger and Sharon Pierce of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Simon Bisher of Cape Girardeau, and the late Rose Bisher.

Maid of honor was June Craigmiles of Chaffee, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Joan Windeknecht of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride, and Carolyn Wood of Jackson, cousin of the bride.

Alan Bisher of Cape Girardeau served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Dan Windeknecht of Cape Girardeau and Keith Wood of Jackson. Ushers were Dennis Reimann of Cape Girardeau, uncle of the bride, and George Craigmiles of Chaffee, brother-in-law of the bride.

Candlelighters were Madison and McKenna Craigmiles, nieces of the bride. They are the daughters of Scott and Denae Ringwald and George and June Craigmiles of Chaffee.

Flower girl was Megan Wood, daughter of Keith and Carolyn Wood and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Ethan Craigmiles, son of Scott and Denae Ringwald and George and June Craigmiles and nephew of the bride.

Donna Bisher, sister-in-law of the groom, attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Lauren Barr and Hunter Rubel. Lauren is the daughter of Mark and Sandra Barr of Jackson and cousin of the bride. Hunter is the son of Harold and Patty Rubel of Cape Girardeau.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Donna Bisher, Connie Exler, Sandra Barr and Kim Ahrens.

The groom's father hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 23 at Delmonico's in Jackson.

Mrs. Bisher is a 1991 graduate of Central High School and a 1996 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a registered nurse at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

The groom is a 1983 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast University in 1988. He is employed by American Red Cross Blood Services.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
