Renata Helen Brockmann, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002, at the Lutheran Home. She was born Sept. 30, 1918, at New Wells, daughter of Martin and Meta Bingenheimer Meyr. Renata Helen Brockmann, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Sept. 30, 1918, at New Wells, daughter of Martin and Meta Bingenheimer Meyr.

Brockmann was a switchboard operator many years at Clayton School District in Clayton, Mo. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1996. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Eisenhauer of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; two brothers, Paul and Harlin Meyr of Jackson; two sisters, Erna Schattauer of Cape Girardeau and Judy Burford of Burfordville.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
