Bell City, continuing to tune up for next week's district volleyball playoffs, rolled past host Oran 15-7, 15-3 Thursday night.

The Cubs (21-5) were led by Katie Niemczyk with 13 kills. Whitney Abner served 10 points and recorded 15 assists while Sarah Scherer added seven digs.

Bell City's JV won 15-6, 15-12.

CENTRAL JV TOURNAMENT

Notre Dame (11-1-3) got goals from Jason Delgado and Tyler LeGrand as it defeated host Central (7-5-3) 2-0 in the championship game.

Central's eighth-grade girls teams both fell to 0-2 after losing at home to Poplar Bluff.

The A team lost 53-14. Courtney Schuessler and Ashley Smith both scored six points for Central.

The B squad fell 42-19. Natalie Gentry led Central with 10 points.
