Warriors have won last 16 meetings. Chaffee's last win over Valle came Sept. 9, 1966. Valle has won nine state championships (six in Class 1), the last in 1995. CHAFFEE COACH ALLAN HORRELL: "This is probably one of the tougher districts in the state. Valle, St. Vincent and Hayti are perennial powers. It's going to be a tall order for us. ... Valle throws the ball a lot. They remind me of us. What they do better is they have a pretty effective running game."St. Vincent (5-2) at Hayti (5-1)

SCOTT CITY COACH JASON BURKMAN: "Each team has had its ups and downs so I see the district wide open. The kids are excited. The opportunity doesn't come along real often when you're 2-5 and feel if you play well you can do well in the district. .. They have an exceptional quarterback that's faster than anyone we've seen all year. ... I believe we'll match up well, but the two kids they have will be the two fastest kids on the field. We have to keep them contained and not let them hit the home run."CLASS 4, DISTRICT 1
