Alicia Kate Schaefer and Joshua Charles Glueck exchanged vows June 1, 2002, at Quincy University Chapel in Quincy, Ill. The Rev. Ron Hoye performed the ceremony. Musicians were Michael Renick of Cape Girardeau, Matt Strohmeyer of Kansas City, Mo., and Deborah Johnson of Quincy.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Rita Schaefer of Dallas City, Ill. The groom is the son of Anton and Carol Glueck of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was April Schaefer of Dallas City, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Glueck of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Robin Keeven of St. Louis, Jennifer Knuffman of Springfield, Ill., and Evanne Manassah of Quincy. Junior bridesmaid was Lindsay Beach, daughter of Bryan and Michele Beach of Dallas City.

Danny Strohmeyer of St. Louis was best man. Groomsmen were Joel Hubbard of St. Louis; Andy Schaefer of Champaign, Ill., brother of the bride; Tony Hanford of Chicago, and Josh Woodworth of St. Louis. Junior groomsman was Dylan Pieper, son of John and Teresa Pieper of Dallas City and cousin of the bride. Ushers were John and Daniel Pieper of Dallas City, Chris Lubbring of St. Louis, and Tyler Berens of Cape Girardeau.

Flower girls were Alyssa Bauer and Carissa Richardson, cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was Raymond Glueck, cousin of the groom. Alyssa is the daughter of Brian and Angela Bauer of Danville, Iowa. Carissa is the daughter of Brad and Jeni Richardson of LaHarpe, Ill. Raymond is the son of Donnie and Colette Glueck of Marion, Iowa.

Adrianne Roberts of Dallas City attended the guest book. Mattie and Caitlin Robertson of Dallas City handed out programs.

Following the ceremony, the reception, dinner and dance was held at Tony's Old Place in Quincy.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 31 at Sprouts Inn in Quincy.

Mrs. Glueck is a 1995 graduate of Dallas City High School, and a 1999 graduate of Quincy University. She is an auditor for Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in St. Louis.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and a 1999 graduate of Quincy University. He is a sales representative with Midwest Industrial Rubber Inc. in St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in St. Louis.
