GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- James H. Taylor, 78, of Grand Chain died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky. He and Letty Mae Eastwood were married. She preceded him in death. GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- James H. Taylor, 78, of Grand Chain died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

He and Letty Mae Eastwood were married. She preceded him in death.

Taylor was a retired construction worker. He was a member of Teamster Local 236 at Paducah. He was a member of the Ohio Chapel United Methodist Church and the Belknap Memorial Lodge 822 AF&AM.

He is survived by a daughter, Elaine Taylor of Metropolis, Ill.; a son, Donald Taylor of Paducah; a sister, Juanita Hindman of Dix, Ill.; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Mabel Lence Taylor; four brothers; and a sister.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. Masonic rites will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ohio Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Joey Dunning and Mike Abel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
