Three Cape Girardeau residents were arrested Sunday on counts of burglary, robbery and armed criminal action.

According to Sgt. Kevin Orr of the Cape Girardeau Police Department, Rosie Jackson, 23, Quintayus Desnes Moore, 26, and Alex Bowen, 26, were taken into custody at the Sands Motel at 1448 N. Kingshighway after allegedly robbing a St. Louis man who was staying at the motel.

Orr said Jackson initially went to the motel room, and shortly after she left Moore and Bowen "bolted throught the door, brandishing a semiautomatic handgun and took cash and other property belonging to the victim."

Bond was set at $50,000 each.
