Kristy Hardy resigned Thursday from her job as Greene County supervisor for the state Division of Family Services. She is the first Greene County official to resign in a statewide shakeup of the Department of Social Services.

The boy's father, John Dilley, has been charged with second-degree murder; prosecutors say he shook Dominic to death.
