Work it out

AFTER READING about the juvenile center, I can't imagine why the officials can't do some of the analyzing themselves instead of hiring an outside source. Our officials ought to have some idea of what needs to be done. If all they are doing is passing the buck, then we aren't getting our money's worth out of our elected officials.

Dirty streets

IT'S AN absolute disgrace what the city streets of Cape Girardeau look like right now. We have the dirtiest streets of a city this size in the nation. Gasoline prices

The prices are rising because of what may happen in the coming months. When oil prices go back down, retailers don't lower gas prices right away. Aren't they getting their money back twice?
