Alvin Styles, vice president at Burrell Advertising Inc., will be the guest Sunday on KRCU's "Going Public" radio show.

The show will focus on advertising, media consulting and minority consumers.

The public affairs show, hosted by Tom Harte and Chris Schnell, will air at 3 p.m. on 90.9 FM, the region's Public Radio affiliate station.

Sikeston woman killed in Friday house fire

MATTHEWS, Mo. -- A longtime Sikeston, Mo., businesswoman died in a house fire Friday evening.

Delores Knuckles died in a fire reported at 5:33 p.m. Friday at her home on Route FF, Brownspur Road.

New Madrid County Coroner Tim Clayton said Knuckles' body was found at the back of the house near the back door. Initial investigation has set the cause of death as smoke inhalation; however, Clayton said further tests are being conducted.

The victim was pronounced dead by Clayton at 7:13 p.m. Friday.
