Jack Rayoum

MINNITH, Mo. -- Jack E. Rayoum, 57, of Minnith died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003, at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 22, 1945, at Minnith, son of George and Nadine Porter Rayoum. He and Lavaughnda J. McMurty were married Feb. 15, 1974.

Rayoum was a member of American Legion Post 150 and United Steel Workers Local 169.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jason Rayoum of Bonne Terre, Mo., Jonas Rayoum of Minnith; his mother of Minnith; two brothers, Bill Rayoum of Ste. Genevieve, Joe Rayoum of St. Mary's, Mo.; three sisters, Alma Boyd of Jackson, Joyce Riehn of Alvaton, Ky., and Carol Braun of Atlanta, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Saline Baptist Church after 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Steve Berry officiating. Burial will be in Minnith Cemetery.
