Shirley Ann Everett, 72, of Cape Girardeau and Wappapello, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Oct. 25, 1930, in Brownwood, Mo. She married Wilfred C. Everett on May 18, 1947, in Advance, Mo. He survives. She was a retired cook with the Mingo Job Corps and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary...

She was born Oct. 25, 1930, in Brownwood, Mo. She married Wilfred C. Everett on May 18, 1947, in Advance, Mo. He survives.

She was a retired cook with the Mingo Job Corps and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She also is survived by two sons, Randy Everett of Jackson and Bill Everett of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; a daughter, Canda Everett of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Peggy Fitzwater of Anacoco, La., and Nancy Revelle of Evansville, Ky.; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don Bates officiating.
