PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Irene Lillian Feltz, 83, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at the Perry County Nursing Home. She was born March 14, 1919, at Colncurry, Australia, daughter of Leslie John Creedon and Margareta Catherine Sciarmella Creedon. She and Dr. Lawrence W. Feltz were married Feb. 14, 1944. He died Jan. 5, 1992...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Irene Lillian Feltz, 83, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born March 14, 1919, at Colncurry, Australia, daughter of Leslie John Creedon and Margareta Catherine Sciarmella Creedon. She and Dr. Lawrence W. Feltz were married Feb. 14, 1944. He died Jan. 5, 1992.

She attended St. Patrick's College and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include five sons, Lawrence C. Feltz of Houston, Texas, Jaye Patrick Feltz of Bahama, N.C., Jeffrey L. Feltz and Kim K. Feltz, both of St. Louis, and Gabrielle L. Feltz of Wichita, Kan.; five daughters, Kerry Lea O'Keeffe of Atlanta, Ga., Jan. L. Redington of Pacific, Mo., Kaye Miederhoff of Perryville, Renee Welker of Parker, Colo., and Suzettae M. Labuary of Monroe City, Mo.; two sisters, Phyllis Hackett and Patricia Higgins, both of Brisbane, Australia; a brother, John L. Creedon of Towoomba, Australia; 23 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Monday.

Visitation will continue from 6:30 a.m. until 11:20 a.m. Tuesday. The rosary will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
