Johnsy Holt

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Johnsy Minyon Holt, 86, of Sikeston died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 24, 1916, in Blodgett, Mo., daughter of Charles M. and Nettie Fisher Turner. She and Floyd Ellis Holt were married Dec. 11, 1943, in Sikeston. He died Oct. 26, 1986.

Holt had been a presser at Faultless Cleaners and had also worked in the laundry department at Ramada Inn in Miner, Mo.

Survivors include a stepson, Eddie Holt of Sedalia, Mo.; and a stepgrandson.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 11 a.m. today.

The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. today at the chapel. The Rev. Maxey Schrieber will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
