CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Kristy Michelle Blue and Timothy Allen Landewee were married Oct. 1, 2011, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, Mo. The Rev. Lewis Hejna and the Rev. Michael Casteel performed the ceremony. Organist was Cheryl Kern of Chaffee. Vocalists were Chris Scherer of Oran, Mo., brother-in-law of the groom; Dolly Kluesner, aunt of the bride, and Samantha Kluesner, cousin of the bride, both of Chaffee.
Parents of the couple are Kenneth and Sharon Blue of Chaffee, and Harold and Agnes Landewee of Oran.
Maid of honor was Kelsey Blue of Chaffee, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Amanda Vandeven of Jackson, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Kern of Chaffee; Susan Scherer of Oran, sister of the groom; Heather Blue of Centralia, Ill., cousin of the bride; and Suzanne Reischman of Chaffee. Junior bridesmaid was Hannah Scherer of Oran, niece of the groom.
The groom chose a cousin, David Asmus of Scott City, and a brother, Carl Landewee of Chaffee, as best men. Groomsmen were Matthew Isaacs of Cape Girardeau, nephew of the groom; Gerald Landewee of Jackson, brother of the groom; Gary Kluesner of Benton, Mo., and Jerome Kluesner of Chaffee, cousins of the bride. Junior groomsman was Joseph Landewee of Chaffee, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Brandon Isaacs of Jackson, nephew of the groom, and John Kluesner of Chaffee, uncle of the bride.
Candlelighters were Katie Upton and Bethany Blue. Katie is the daughter of Charlie and Theresa Upton of Jasper, Ind. Bethany is the daughter of Floyd and Pam Blue of Odin, Ill., and cousin of the bride.
The reception was held at the church parish center.
The rehearsal dinner was Sept. 30 at Father Shibley Hall.
Mrs. Landewee received a bachelor of science degree with a major in accounting. She is employed at Baer & Edington LLC in Jackson.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree with a major in construction management. He is employed by Columbia Construction Corp. in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple is residing in Chaffee.
