Stephanie Lynn Boren and Bryan William Wessell were united in marriage July 13, 2002, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Short performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Beverly Boren of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Jeff and Maureen Tygett of Jackson, and the late Dan Wessell.

Courtney Boren of Cape Girardeau was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Wendy Unsbee, Jill Wittenborn, Micah Goodrich and Holly Brantley, all of Cape Girardeau, and Shelly Weber of Oak Ridge, sister of the groom.

Best man was Bryan Yamnitz of Jackson. Groomsmen were Chad Francis, Jason Floyd, Blake Seabaugh and Tyson Rees, all of Jackson, and Jason Weber of Oak Ridge, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Ryan Anderson and Craig Hope, cousin of the groom, both of Jackson.

Flower girl was Alexis Richardson, daughter of Daniel and Jessie Richardson of Cape Girardeau. Ringbearer was Hunter Clardy, son of Christy Johnson.

Brittany Bollinger and Jessica Tygett attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Bavarian Halle.

The groom's mother and stepfather hosted the rehearsal dinner July 12 at Holiday Inn.

Mrs. Wessell received a degree in elementary education in May. She is a pre-kindergarten teacher at Trinity Lutheran School.

The groom is employed with Leimer and Wessell Construction Inc. in Jackson.

The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
