CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Amanda Annette Cannon and Bradley James McKlin Jr. were married Oct. 9, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Chaffee. The Revs. Matthew Butrum and Cliff Day performed the ceremony. Organist was Sue Wessel of Gordonville and soloist was Amanda Jackson of Chaffee.
Parents of the couple are Tim and Germaine Cannon of Chaffee, and Jamie and Shirley McKlin of Advance, Mo.
Maid of honor was Fhonda Sumner of Chaffee, and matron of honor was Ashley Adrian of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Veronica McKlin of Essex, Mo., sister of the groom; Amber Burton of Chaffee, Lori McCulley of Sikeston, Mo., April Niswonger of Jackson, Hannah Bedwell and Paige Koch of Chaffee. Junior bridesmaid was Lauran Bedwell of Chaffee.
Simon Irvin of Kansas City was best man. Groomsmen were Andy Cannon of Chaffee, brother of the bride; Seth Robert of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride; Ronnie Sumner of Chaffee, Kyle Bishop and Shawn Heisserer of New Hamburg, Tony Province and Ethan Bedwell of Chaffee. Junior groomsman was Isaac Bedwell of Chaffee.
Flower girl was Mia Fuehrer, daughter of Adam and Holly Fuehrer of St. Charles, Mo. Honorary flower girl was Peyton Adrian, daughter of Justin and Ashley Adrian. Ringbearer was Gavin Stroder, son of April Niswonger. Honorary ringbearer was Tyler Reeves, son of Rick and Kimberlee Reeves of Cape Girardeau.
Guest book attendants were Holly Fuehrer and Kimberlee Reeves.
The reception was held at Drury Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
The rehearsal dinner was Oct. 8 at the church, hosted by the bride's parents, other family and friends of the couple.
Mrs. McKlin is a 2002 graduate of Chaffee High School, and expects to graduate from Southeast Missouri State University in 2013. She is customer service manager at Walmart Supercenter in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Zalma High School, 2005 graduate of Three Rivers Community College, and 2007 graduate of Southeast's Law Enforcement Academy. He is employed with Cape Girardeau Police Department.
After a wedding trip to St. Louis, the couple is residing in Chaffee.
