Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau was the setting Dec. 13, 2003, for the wedding of Rebecca Kate Coleman and Matthew William McDonald. The ceremony was performed by the groom's father, Phillip McDonald. Pianist was Kristen Halliday of O'Fallon, Mo., violinist was Drew Flamm of Toledo, Ohio, and soloist was Robert Reid of Dayton, Ohio.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Lisa Coleman of Jackson. The groom is the son of Phillip and Rebecca McDonald of Rockford, Mich.
Maid of honor was Sarah Coleman of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Osborne of Jackson, Kristie Tate of Cedarville, Ohio, and Danielle McDonald of Rockford, sister of the groom.
Chad Jackson of Cedarville was best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Coleman of Jackson, brother of the bride; Mark and Nathan McDonald of Rockford, brothers of the groom. Ushers were Greg Schwab, Andy Young and Justin Cook.
Candlelighters were Kerrie Gordon, Johanna Gordon and Melanie Cobb, all of Jackson.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the chapel.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 12 at the chapel.
Mrs. McDonald is a 2003 graduate of Southwest Baptist University at Bolivar, Mo.
The groom expects to graduate this spring from Cedarville University in Ohio, and expects to begin attending Dallas Theological Seminary in May.
The couple will reside in Dallas.
