Paula Grahmann and Lucas Lynn Ward were married Oct. 1, 2011, at Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus, Wis. The Revs. Todd Hackman and Robert Grahmann performed the ceremony. Music was by the Grahmann Family Singers.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Grahmann and Patricia Grahmann of Madison, Wis. The groom is the son of Lynn Ward and Patricia Ward of Scott City.

Matron of honor was Julie Haack of Madison, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennica Skoug of Wisconsin; Kathryn Cubage of Chicago; Kaitlin Ward of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; and Jessica Kick of Chicago.

Seth Ward of Scott City was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Dan Novalis of New York, N.Y.; Jon Cole of St. Louis; Brian Gilmore of Eureka, Mo., cousin of the groom; Michael Asher of Philadelphia, Pa. Ushers were Alex Grahmann of Bethel, Minn., and Steven Grahmann of Flagstaff, Ariz., brothers of the bride.

Flower girls were Anna and Claire Haack, nieces of the bride. Ringbearers were Sam Haack and Martin Grahmann, nephews of the bride.

The reception was held at New Glarus Hotel Restaurant.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 30 at Deininger's Restaurant in New Glarus.

Mrs. Ward received a degree in chemistry from Hope College. She is a patient care technician at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

The groom received a degree in computer science from Southeast Missouri State University. He is the chief technology officer at Fundspire.

After a wedding trip to Paris, the couple is residing in Chicago.
