Kyla Marie Hill and Christopher Clark Porter exchanged vows Feb. 15, 2003, at Hotel Riu Palace in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The Rev. Lucio Varo and Maria de Jesus Castillo performed the ceremony. Soloist was Blaine Hayes of Dallas, Texas.
Mark and Lisa Hill of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Sandy Porter of Plano, Texas, and Randy Porter of Brownwood, Texas.
Maid of honor was Samantha Brown of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Amanda Peterman of Cape Girardeau and Lisa Porter of Little Elm, Texas, sister-in-law of the groom.
Brian Porter of Little Elm served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Kent Saller of Plano, and Cody Hill of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride. Honorary groomsman was John Hill Jr. of Cape Girardeau, grandfather of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and reception was held at La Bodega Brazilian Restaurant at the resort.
Mrs. Porter is a 1997 graduate of Central High School, and a 2001 graduate of Texas A&M University at College Station. She is a manager with BCBG Max Azria in Dallas.
The groom is a 1994 graduate of Plano High School, and a 1998 graduate of Texas A&M University. He is a major account manager with Allegiance Telecom in Dallas.
After a wedding trip in Mexico, the couple resides in Frisco, Texas.
