Old McKendree Chapel in Jackson was the setting Nov. 11, 2002, for the wedding of D. Samantha Milbourne and Stacy Wayne Gilmore. The Rev. Earl Statler performed the ceremony. Soloist was Amanda Dumey of Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Dera Wargo of Fayetteville, N.C. The groom is the son of Wayne and Brenda Gilmore of Broseley, Mo.
Maid of honor was Dera Perry of Jackson, daughter of the bride.
Wesley Gilmore of Broseley served his brother as best man.
Flower girl was Shelby Darnell of Jackson, daughter of the bride. Ringbearer was Stacy Gilmore II of Piedmont, Mo., son of the groom.
A private reception followed the ceremony.
Stephany Corn, sister of the bride, hosted the rehearsal dinner Nov. 23 at Lambert's.
Mrs. Gilmore is a graduate of Douglas Byrd High School in Fayetteville, and of Sandhills College in Pinehurst, N.C. She is retired from the fashion industry.
The groom is a graduate of Twin Rivers High School at Broseley, and a former police officer in Southeast Missouri. He is an over-the-road truck driver.
After a wedding trip to Mexico and Canada, the couple resides in Jackson.
