Whitney Danielle Parres and Seth Zachary Bollinger were married May 28, 2011, at Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev. John Harth performed the ceremony. Pianist was Jerry Ganiel and soloist was Allie Baugh, both of Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Debora Parres Jr. of Jackson. The groom is the son of David and Debra Bollinger of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Kelly Birk and matron of honor was Lesley Todd, both of Jackson and sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jenny Shelton of Oakland, Tenn., and Ashley Parres of Sparta, Mo., sisters of the bride.

Nick Todd of Jackson, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Compas and Jermiah Gibson of Cape Girardeau, and Josh Bollinger of Fulton, Mo., brother of the groom. Ushers were Josh Birk of Jackson and Ryan Shelton of Oakland, brothers-in-law of the bride.

Candlelighters were Amber Pierce of Jackson and Amy Wichern of Cape Girardeau.

Flower girl was Emma Sandbothe, daughter of Brian and Amy Sandbothe of Smyrna, Ga., cousin of the bride. Ringbearers were Thomas Hays and Alexander Todd, nephews of the bride. Thomas is the son of Ashley Parres and the late Troy Hays. Alexander is the son of Nick and Lesley Todd.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 27 in the parish lower level.

Mrs. Bollinger is a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education from Southeast Missouri State University in December. She is a Kids Plus attendant at Fitness Plus in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 2007. He is an intermediate traffic studies specialist with MoDOT in Jackson.

After a wedding trip to Castries, St. Lucia, the couple is residing in Jackson.
