Lesley Parres and Nicholas Todd were married Oct. 7, 2006, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. Monsignor Ed Eftink and the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer performed the ceremony. Pianist was Jerry Ganiel, and vocalist was Ron Hitt.

Parents of the couple are Thomas and Debora Parres and Dennis and Virginia Todd of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Ashley Parres of Springfield, Mo., and matron of honor was Jennifer Shelton of Cordova, Tenn., sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelly and Whitney Parres of Jackson, sisters of the bride.

Daniel Rath of St. Peters, Mo., cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were A.P. Woods, Jonathan Compas and Seth Bollinger of Jackson. Ushers were Ryan Shelton of Cordova, brother-in-law of the bride, and Josh Birk of Jackson.

Flower girl was Megan Brown of Perryville, Mo., cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Tanner Slinkard of Jackson, cousin of the groom.

Miranda Brown of Perryville handed out programs. Michelle Otte of Cape Girardeau handed out flowers.

Leah Lappe of Jackson attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.

The rehearsal dinner was held at Emmanuel United Church of Christ fellowship hall in Jackson.

Mrs. Todd is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is a first grade teacher with Jackson School District at North Elementary.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in technical graphics from Southeast. He is a graphic designer with Jansco Outdoor.

After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Jackson.
