Dr. Melissa Reidy and Dr. Christopher Griffith were married Sept. 3, 2016, at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Estes Park, Colorado. Deacon Stan Rymes performed the ceremony. Music was provided by the bride's brothers, Chris Reidy of Fallon, Nevada, and Tim Reidy of Milton, Georgia.
Melissa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Reidy of Johns Creek, Georgia. Chris is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Kent Griffith of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Kim Gauronsky of Lehighton, Pennsylvania. Bridesmaids were Kristen Szczepaniec of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Karen Stenehjem of Salt Lake City; and Kristen Reidy of Milton, sister-in-law of the bride.
The best man was Matt Griffith of Nashville, Tennessee, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Dr. Dave Deisher of Breinigsville, Pennsylvania; Lt. Chris Reidy of Fallon, brother of the bride; and Tim Reidy of Milton, brother of the bride.
Readers were Dr. Mena Kerolus of Chicago; Marie Bader of Mobile, Alabama; and Stephanie Riley of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom.
The dinner reception was hosted by the bride's parents at Taharaa Mountain Lodge in Estes Park.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Mary's Lake Lodge in Estes Park.
Melissa is a 2005 graduate of Centennial High School in Alpharetta, Georgia. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2009 with a degree in biology and Spanish. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia (Georgia Regents) in 2013 with her Doctor of Medicine degree. She completed a three-year residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado - Denver in 2016. She is a first-year fellow in rheumatology at the university.
Chris is a 2006 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. He received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 2013 and completed a three-year residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado - Denver in 2016. He is a physician with Kaiser Permanente in Denver.
A wedding trip to Italy is planned for May 2017. The couple lives in Denver.
