JACKSON -- Amie Diane Runnels and Ronald Neil Glass II were married June 12, 1999, at First General Baptist Church. The Rev. Luther Rhodes performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Pam Cook, and soloist was Brittany Moore.

Parents of the couple are Larry and Diane Runnels and Ron and Emy Glass, all of Jackson.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Renee Harper and matron of honor was Kim McCarroll, both of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Angie Jeffers and Andrea Brown of Jackson, sisters of the bride; Marilyn Perego of St. Louis, aunt of the groom; Christy Collier of Sikeston; Chanda Eftink of Bell City; and Heidi Hahs of Jackson.

The groom chose Len Waldron of North Carolina and Kris Jauch of Jackson as best men. Groomsmen were Kyle and Kent Glass, brothers of the groom; Richard Bennett, Brandon Norman and Shannon Hardy, all of Jackson, and Vaughn McDowell of St. Louis. Hardy and McDowell were also ushers.

Candlelighters were Andy Glass of Jackson, brother of the groom; Chanda Eftink and Heidi Hahs.

Flower girl was Bethany Mirly, daughter of Steven and Tonia Mirly of Jackson and goddaughter of the groom. Ringbearer was Jordan Jeffers, son of Kris and Angie Jeffers and nephew of the bride.

Melissa Childers of Jackson attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride and groom.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 11 in the church fellowship hall, with 35 guests attending.

Mrs. Glass is a graduate of Jackson High School and Stage One the Hair School. She is owner of Cutting Edge Hair Salon in Jackson.

The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School and Southeast Missouri State University, and is working on a master's degree in administration at Southeast. He is a coach and teacher at Jackson R-2 Schools.

The couple resides in Jackson.
