Jill Suzanne Wittenborn and Michael Ray Uhrhan were married June 18, 2011, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. David Hulshof performed the ceremony. Pianist was Lenny Kuper and vocalist was Casie Mills, both of Cape Girardeau. Servers were Cole and Paige Emmenderfer, children of Jason and Amy Emmenderfer of Cape Girardeau.

Parents of the couple are Robert and Susan Wittenborn and Vernon and Jerry Uhrhan of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Melissa Ashby, formerly of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Julie Kearbey and Kristin Grupas of St. Louis, and Staci Wittenborn of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the bride.

Mike Higgins of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Shannon Kutz of Cape Girardeau, Brad Halter of Lubbock, Texas, and Greg Stevens of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Andrew Miller of Cape Girardeau, nephew of the groom; Mark Wittenborn of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; and Scott Wittenborn of Columbia, Mo., cousin of the bride.

Flower girls were Anna and Olivia Lacy, Taylor Wittenborn, Casey Miller, Lydia and Savanna Huckstep. Anna and Olivia are daughters of Matt and Christine Lacy of Cape Girardeau. Olivia is goddaughter of the bride. Taylor is the daughter of Mark and Staci Wittenborn and niece of the bride. Casey is the daughter of Mike and Sandy Miller of Cape Girardeau and niece of the groom. Lydia and Savanna are daughters of Alan and Tammy Huckstep of Jackson and nieces of the groom.

The reception was held at Ray's Plaza Conference Center.

The bride and groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 17 at Kimbeland Country Club.

Mrs. Uhrhan is a 1998 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2002, and a master's degree from the University of Missouri in 2006. She is a teacher with Cape Girardeau School District.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a degree in criminal justice from Southeast in 2000. He is employed at Walgreens.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
