The following items were released Wednesday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

John Clay Matthews III, 31, 609 Taylor St., Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of an attempt to obtain a fraudulent prescription.

Damond Patrick Riddle, 23, 7540 Leadalf Drive, St. Louis, was arrested on a city warrant for failure to pay fines on a suspended operator's license.

Casaundra Angela Kaufman, 22, 104 Mary Alice Meadows, Thebes, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

Larinda Beth Thompson, 19, 104 Mary Alice Meadows, Thebes, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

Amanda Fay Brooks, 22, 2749 Hawthorne Road, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of assault.

Natasha E. Dixson, 20, 821 Locust St., was arrested on two city warrants for failure to appear for a suspended operator's license and improper registration.

Milton T. Adkinson, 21, 1170 Cherry St., Pulaski, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for possession of marijuana.

Jamie L. Kelley, 24, 20S. Sprigg St., was arrested on two city warrants for failure to appear for stealing.

Thefts

A wallet and its contents were reported stolen from 605 Amethyst St.

A DVD/VCR combo, television, two cell phones, two wall phones, an eight-inch television and other items were reported stolen from 621 S. Ellis St.

A banner was taken and one was damaged at Wiethop Truck Sales, 2350 Independence St.

Gasoline was reported stolen from Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway.

A wallet and its contents were reported stolen from 194 Siemers St.

Property Damage

A pay phone belonging to Southwestern Bell was reported damaged at 2101 William St.

Vehicle tires were reported damaged at 239 N. Middle St.

Counterfeiting

Counterfeit money was reported at Fred's Store, 121A N. Sprigg St.

Counterfeit money was reported at Bank of America, 800 N. Kingshighway.
