Cape police reports 6/27/06

Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Jesse L. Southern, 30, of 632 N. Frederick St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene, failure to display license upon request and following too close.

Arrests

* Johnny L. Johnson, 27, of 415 S. Hanover St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance.

* Christopher S. Clover, 19, of 2102 Big Bend Road, was arrested on suspicion of fleeing lawful detention and no operators license.

* Shaun K. Moore, 25, of 909 Hackberry St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau city warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.

Summons

* Rachael N. Lynn, 19, of Scott City received a summons for possession of marijuana.

Assaults

* An assault was reported at 130 Vantage Drive. Tris Wickware, 30, of 2843 Whitener St., was arrested in connection to the complaint.

Thefts

* A theft was reported at 253 Independence St. Bobbi J. Toland, 38, of Jonesboro, Ill., was arrested in connection to the complaint and on suspicion of allowing an unauthorized person to operate a motor vehicle.

* J.C. Penney, 200 West Park Mall, reported robbery and property damage.

* Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St., reported the theft of gasoline.

Property damage

* A broken vehicle window and flattened tire were reported at 729 Themis St.

* Tires and a fender were reported stolen at 24 Village Drive.

Miscellaneous

* A natural death was reported.
