Jackson police and fire report 9/26/11

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department reported the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Linda K. Lawrence, 59, 1010 North St., was arrested on suspicion of failure to provide proof of insurance, failure to register a motor vehicle and hindering prosecution.

* Tracy R. Lawrence, 38, 1010 North St., was arrested on suspicion of hindering prosecution.

Summonses

* Amanda K. Odell, 23, 1225 Brandon St., Apt. 2, was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Andrew C. Trueblood, 35, of Cape Girardeau was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Paloma E. Scarpaci, 19, 516 N. Georgia St., was issued a citation for speeding, fail- ure to register a motor vehicle and failure to provide proof of insurance.

Harassment

* Harassment was reported in the 800 block of Andrew Street.

Burglary

* Burglary was reported in the 2900 block of East Jackson Street.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of Old Cape Road.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Elwanda Drive.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Florence Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

* A citizen assist on Kies Avenue.

* A citizen assist on Kimbel Lane.

* A medical assist on Mansfield Place.

Firefighters responded to the following call Saturday:

* Emergency medical service at the 500 block of South Hope Street.
