Jackson police report 8/19/13

JACKSON

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Zachary J. Fields, 19, of Glenallen, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Eddie F. Hedge, 37, 957 W. Independence St., No. 9, was arrested for suspicion of public intoxication.

* A 14-year-old boy was referred to juvenile authorities on suspicion of assault.

Summonses

* Michael D.S. Barnes, 39, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for seat belt violation.

* Troy D. Ligons, 18, of Mount Vernon, Ill., was issued summonses for operating a motor vehicle while license suspended and speed.

Thefts

* Theft was reported in the 600 block of Charlotte Court.

* Theft was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.

Miscellaneous

* Assistance was requested in the 700 block of Broadridge Drive.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* Harassment was reported in the 600 block of Charlotte Court.

* A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Ohio Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Adams Street.
