The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

Justin Statler, 20, of 1322 N. West End Blvd., was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and improper turning at Gordonville and Edgewood.

Arrests

A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody Friday for a peace disturbance at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.

A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody Friday for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at 801 William.

Russell Scott Jackman, 44, of 501 S. Middle was arrested Friday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear in court.

Shannon Corbitt, 27, of Charleston, Mo., was arrested Friday on a contempt of court charge.

A person was in custody Friday pending the filing of formal charges of possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations.

James Earl Walker III, 22, of 1710 N. Sprigg, Apt. 104, was charged Saturday with possession of a controlled substance at Gordonville and Edgewood.

James Thompson, 18, of St. Charles, Mo., was arrested Saturday on a charge of indecent exposure at 1216 Broadway.

Yvonne Stewart, 45, of 535 S. Hanover was issued a summons Friday for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assaults

A domestic assault was reported Friday.

An assault was reported Friday at 1927 Briarwood.

Theft

A gun was reported stolen Friday from 631 Themis.

Miscellaneous

Vehicles were towed Friday from 1710 N. Sprigg and 900 S. Ranney.

A cellular phone was reported as lost Friday in the 1000 block of North Frederick.

A bicycle was found Friday at 17 S. Hanover.

A case involving interference with custody was reported Friday.

A case of child abuse was reported.

A 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, both reported as runaways in Scott County, were found Friday at 823 S. Kingshighway.Property Damage

A glass window was reported broken Saturday at Kelley Transportation, 41 N. Sprigg.
