The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
* Two subjects were in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of marijuana.
* Tyla J. Newman, 17, 1603 Mississippi St., was arrested on suspicion of assault and stealing.
* Jeffery M. Daugherty, 22, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for a probation violation for stealing.
* China C. Newbern, 18, 1318 N. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault, assault on law enforcement and property damage.
* Keyth R. Dawson, 17, 515 North St., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.
* Zena P. Holder, 17, 919 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.
* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of assault on law enforcement and resisting arrest.
* Sharola L. Moore, 36, 708 S. Ellis St. was arrested on suspicion of a peace disturbance.
* Cantai Jabrae Moore, 29, 934 William St., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
* A 16-year-old was cited into juvenile court for assault.
* Sarah Elizabeth Pulliam, 22, 538 Cape Meadows Circle, received a summons for failure to maintain property free of weeds.
* Tina Leann Ashby, 50, 1856 Lakeshore Drive, received a summons for a leash law violation.
* James Joseph Dennis, 46, 707 Broadway, received a summons for harassment.
* Domestic assault was reported.

* Jewelry was reported stolen at 2132 Perryville Road.
* Denny's, 161 West Drive, reported carpet stolen.
* Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
* BiState, 612 S. Sprigg, reported gasoline stolen.
* Medication, CDs and money were reported stolen at 802 Penny Ave.
* An iPod was reported stolen at 907 N. Middle St.
* A wallet was reported stolen at Broadway and Sprigg Street.
* A bicycle was reported stolen at 136 S. Henderson Ave.
* An engine was reported stolen at 2855 Whitener St.
* A DVD set, CDSs and DVDs, a cell phone charger, sunglasses and money were reported stolen at 1146 S. Kingshighway.
* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
* Medication was reported stolen at 2802 Independence St.
* A vehicle mirror was reported damaged at 2106 Bloomfield St.
* Tampering with a witness/victim was reported.
* A 42-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
* Forgery was reported.
* A 23-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
* A rape was reported.
