Boyd received a bachelor of fine arts degree in art, with an emphasis in graphic design, from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Idyllic Enterprises in Scott City.

Cato received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast University, and is pursuing a master's degree in English. He is a high school English teacher with Jackson School District.
An Oct. 9 wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.
