Theresea Carr of Cape Girardeau and Tom Carr of Kentucky announce the engagement of their daughter, Teri Marie Carr, to Adam Paul Ralls. He is the son of Harry and Candy Ralls of Cape Girardeau.

Carr is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in speech pathology from Southeast Missouri State University in December. She is a paraprofessional at Jefferson School.

Ralls is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame. He received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast in 2006. He is concession manager at Wehrenberg Theatres.

A May 10 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral.
