ADVANCE, Mo. -- Rick and Carol Coffee of Advance announce the engagement of their daughter, Dawn Nicole Coffee, to Robert Andrew "Andy" Barnes, both of Sikeston, Mo. He is the son of Don and Marilyn Barnes and Donnie and Connie Reimann, all of Sikeston.

Coffee is a 1998 graduate of Advance High School. She graduated from Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center practical nursing program in 2000, and from SoutheastHEALTH College of Nursing and Health Sciences in 2011. She is employed at Bits of Heaven In Home Services.

Barnes is a 1992 graduate of Sikeston High School. He is employed by Ferguson Medical Group.

An Aug. 24 wedding is planned at Trinity Baptist Church in Sikeston.
