BENTON, Mo. -- Danny and Brenda Dumey of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Malinda Kay Dumey, to Jarrett Eugene Milam. He is the son of Brad and Rita Milam of Benton.

Dumey is a 1997 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in occupational therapy from Maryville University in St. Louis in 2001. She is a registered occupational therapist at St. Francis Medical Center.

Milam is a 1997 graduate of Kelly High School. He is a self-employed masonry contractor with Milam Masonry and Contracting, LLC.

A May 24 wedding is planned at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, Mo.
