Mr. and Mrs. Steven Glenn of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Jane Glenn, to James Clayton Carbaugh. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Moore of Jackson, and Ted Carbaugh of Cape Girardeau.

Glenn is a 1998 graduate of Scott City High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in 1992 from Southeast Missouri State University, and a master's degree in elementary administration from William Woods University in 2006. She is an assistant principal at Sikeston Kindergarten Center in Sikeston, Mo.

Carbaugh is a 1994 graduate of Perryville High School. He received a bachelor of science degree from Murray State University in 2001. He is employed at Tetra Pak in Sikeston.

A June 6 wedding is planned.
