Garry and Terrie Goodman of Leslie, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori Ann Goodman, to Matthew Darwin Williams, both of Sullivan, Mo. He is the son of Sherry and Dennis Hooe of Cape Girardeau and Darwin and Brenda Williams of Murray, Ky.

Goodman is a 1999 graduate of Sullivan High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in education from Missouri Baptist College in St. Louis in 2003. She is a teacher with Spring Bluff School District in Sullivan.

Williams is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School. He is maintenance superintendent with Wilson 5 Service Co. at Federal Records Center in St. Louis.

A June 30 wedding is planned in Washington, Mo.
