Gregory-Russell

Brent and Nancy Gregory of Grand Rivers, Ky., and Francie Gregory of Paducah, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Ellen Gregory of Cape Girardeau, to Christopher Shay Russell. He is the son of Courtland and Michelle Smith of Kennett, Mo., and Elzie and Melinda Russell of Summit, Miss.

Gregory received an associate of arts degree in 1996 from John A. Logan College in Carterville, Ill. She received a bachelor of science degree in education in 1998 and a master of arts degree in composition in 2000, both from Southeast Missouri State University. She is an English and journalism teacher at Leopold High School in Leopold, Mo., and an adjunct instructor in English at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Russell attended Three Rivers College. He expects to receive a degree in business management in 2004 from Ashworth College in Norcross, Ga.

A Dec. 27 wedding is planned at Green Turtle Bay Resort in Grand Rivers.
