David W. and Rebecca Huber of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Kimberly Huber, to Christopher Joseph Elfrink. He is the son of Nicholas J. and Geraldine Elfrink of Marble Hill, Mo.

Huber is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. She is pursuing a degree in child development at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Christian School for the Young Years in Cape Girardeau, and at The Andrew Jackson Bridal and Tuxedo in Jackson.

Elfrink is a 2006 graduate of Leopold High School. He received a degree in secondary education from Southeast in 2010. He is an English teacher with Woodland School District in Marble Hill, Mo.

A July 9 wedding is planned at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Mo.
