Lorberg is a 1994 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a degree in marketing from Missouri State University in Springfield in 1999. She is a sales representative with Novartis Pharmaceutical Co.

Schumacher is a 1993 graduate of Parkway West High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in mass media from Missouri State University in 1997. He is a freelance video photographer/editor with KSDK-TV and KMOV-TV in St. Louis.

A June 30 wedding is planned at historic Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Louis.
