Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. McLane of Oak Ridge announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Darlene McLane, to Jason Ray Mason. He is the son of Barbara Mason of Cape Girardeau, and the late Ernest Mason Jr.

McLane is a 1995 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, and a 2000 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a medical technologist at St. Francis Medical Center.

Mason attended Central High School. He is a technician at Charlie's Auto Body.

A Nov. 8 wedding is planned at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church.
